I was working in the garden recently, thinking about Digipak® trays. (I know: get a life, Micah!) A thought came to me: Instead of making these trays out of something that lasts forever in a landfill (plastic), why couldnâ€™t they be made out of something more ephemeral â€“ like plants?

By great coincidence, a few days later I got a call from a colleague in the Netherlands. His company had just started manufacturing a new kind of CD tray out of potato starch. This tray is made with only a fraction (about 1/6th) of the usual energy and emissions. The coolest part: The tray can either be recycled or put into your compost bin when no longer needed! Itâ€™s a natural farm product.

The Oasis Potato Tray Digipak is now finalized and ready! And, in spite of the additional manufacturing costs incurred, weâ€™re offering it to you at no additional charge for a limited time.
